Hi have been doing family tree & Intake Farm Meltham, is where my husbands grandfather died on 8 July 1926. Name of Herbert Hargreaves. B: 1851 in Kimberley South Africa. Would this be the same place as we have little information on him. Thanks Fern Robertshaw. Australia.

I’m afraid it’s not the same Intake Farm, we are in Littlebeck, North Yorkshire but Intake Farm Meltham looks to be in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. All the best with your family tree,

Hi Fern, this is Carol Cowling , is your Hotmail account still valid? I found this post whilst trying to find any lost thread about the elusive Herbert Hargreaves and was looking at Intake Farm , Meltham. In the last 5 years I have not made much progress but at least I am close to the locality.
